As Head of Science and Technology at Luina Bio, Tim brings over 20 years of project management, technical, and research and development expertise. Tim’s technical expertise is in the disciplines of molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, and cell biology.
Since 2017, Tim has been in Project Management, Alliance Management, and General Manager roles and now as Head of Science and Technology. Prior to working at Luina Bio, Tim spent six years in innovation commercialization roles at university commercialisation companies UniQuest (The University of Queensland) and QUT bluebox (Queensland University of Technology). Within these roles, Tim facilitated the commercialization of university research from a broad range of disciplines. Tim has a background in academic research as a post-doctoral research scholar at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and was the recipient of the Arthritis Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with First Class Honors (UQ), and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience (University of Queensland).
